A haven of peace in the city
As soon as you enter the house, your gaze will be drawn to the garden visible through a large bay window.
The opening onto the terrace accessible to all extends into a garden combining different atmospheres. Our square vegetable garden is always popular and gives us beautiful strawberries for breakfast. On sunny days, roses, jasmine or honeysuckle scent up to the terrace. After a long day’s sightseeing, our guests enjoy resting on a deckchair in the quiet of the garden.
Interior atmosphere: the charm of the old combined with modern comfort
Although the house has been completely renovated and has modern facilities contributing to the general comfort, we have chosen to furnish it with family furniture for its authenticity.
In winter you will enjoy reading in the living room by the stove. In the summer, the large bay window with a galandage window retracts into the wall to extend the interior onto the terrace.
A major renovation
For two whole years we have been working to make our house the refined place it has become, with a result that is proving to be very satisfactory.
Without counting our hours, we have drawn, compared, demolished, dug, transported materials, sanded, painted, tiled…
The choice of materials was based on natural products such as lime and wood, wood wool for insulation.
