Over the years, our concern to reduce our impact on the environment has grown and has led us to reorganise the guest house to this end.

In addition to the selective sorting that we have been doing for a long time, we have replaced individually wrapped soaps and shampoo doses with product dispensers in each of the rooms. The choice of materials used for the renovation of the house was based above all on ecological criteria for a healthier environment. Tea, coffee grounds and peelings enrich the compost which is reused in the vegetable garden. All light bulbs have been replaced by LED bulbs and are operated by motion detectors in areas where people pass by. This year, plastic water bottles have disappeared from the rooms in favour of glass jugs filled with filtered water. Towels are not changed systematically every day but on request. In the garden, no pesticides are used for a 100% natural garden.

On the breakfast table, no individually wrapped butters or jams but homemade yoghurts (and it’s better!), homemade jams with organic products, quality honey bought in bulk. What’s more, we only travel by bicycle or hybrid car for bulk purchases from the small shops in the neighbourhood.

Concerned about improving each of our gestures, each of our actions is constantly thought out to reduce our energy expenses. We continue to improve our environmental protection on an ongoing basis.
